Despite anonymous calls threatening to vandalize or steal the two new Randy Papé Beltline signs, the installation was a quiet affair Wednesday morning.
The Oregon Transportation Commission voted Tuesday to rename Beltline Highway the "Randy Pape Beltline." The new plan keeps "beltline" in the name and reduces the immediate costs of the project.
