Opponents of the Randy Papé Beltline want to put a measure on the November ballot that would require state-wide voter approval to rename state-owned property.  They will attempt to collect 83,000 signatures on July 1.

The Oregon Transportation Commission voted Tuesday to rename Beltline Highway the "Randy Pape Beltline." The new plan keeps "beltline" in the name and reduces the immediate costs of the project.
