Between Sahalie Falls and Koosah Falls, on the McKenzie river, is what is called the staircase. As the Mckenzie flows downhill between the two falls,it is very scenic.

This weekend found my daughter and myself,hiking into Proxy Falls.We also stopped at Sahalie and Koosah Falls.I had never seen Koosah before.. I rather like it better than Sahalie.

Koosah Falls is located a quarter of a mile away from Sahalie falls on the upper McKenzie river. It is difficult to photograph waterfalls in the direct sunlight,but this photo turned out semi ok
