YMCA and the group "Save Civic" recently announced they were combining their plans for Civic Stadium, with Market of Choice footing the bill. YMCA Executive Director Dave Perez said the new plan is worth four to five teaching jobs a year.

The YMCA and the group "Save Civic" announced Monday they were teaming up with Market of Choice. Market of Choice President Rick Wright said he would pay to lease the land. The announcement shocked Eugene 4J School District board chair Craig Smith.
