The mother and stepfather of a 15-year-old girl who died last week were formally indicted on charges of aggravated murder Wednesday. The girl's mother faces an additional charge of tampering with evidence.

The sheriff is investigating the death of a 15-year-old girl after the girl was pronounced dead at the hospital. The girl's stepfather and mother have been taken into custody on suspicion of murder by abuse.
