With the saying of spring as 'April showers bring May flowers', the drizzle that doused Junction City’s Daffodil Drive Festival on Saturday proved it was still winter.
The Junction City High School boys basketball game against Cottage Grove has been postponed until next week because too many players are out sick, the school district said.
Cottage Grove rallied from a 10 point fourth quarter deficit to defeat Elmira 61-57 to claim second place in the Sky-Em League on Tuesday at Junction City High School.
With three seconds left in the game and the score tied 25-25, the coaches rallied their teams courtside for one final possession before regulation expired.
